RED RIBBON CLUB

Red Ribbon Club has been functioning in Dharmasala Mahavidyalaya since the session 2009-10.

Objectives

• Undertaking Orientation programmes for the volunteers.
• Observation of World Aids Day on 1^st December every year.
• Voluntary blood donation camp in the month of October either on 1^st October i.e. on the day of National Voluntary blood donation on any day during the month of October in consultation with Red Cross Blood Bank.
• Distribution of Red Ribbons to students & staff.
• Quiz & essay competitions among the volunteers & students.
• Outdoor campaigns like rally, meetings & workshops.
• Display of photos & paintings in the exhibition-stall in Dharmasala Mahotsav Celebration in the last week of December 2010 or in the 1^st week of Jan, 2011 as a part of Aids awareness campaign.
• Blood grouping, health checkup camp, First Aid training & other relevant programmes.
