Proceedings of Career Counselling Programme

Under the auspices of OHEPEE, the Career Counseling Programme was held in the Smart Room of the college at 11:00 am on dt 15.03.2022. The meeting was presided over by the Principal, Prof. Tapan Kumar Mishra and was co-ordinated by Prof. (Dr) Sasmita Samal, Dy. Co-ordinator, IDP. The members of the Career Counselling Cell of the college like Prof. Arabinda Kumar Mohanty, Prof. Manas Kumar Sarangi were also present in the Programme. Prof. Bikash Ranjan Das, HOD, Comp. Sc., Nalanda Institute and Co-founder Vanik Institute, BBSR, attended the programme as resource person. He explained very well about the career opportunities for the students in the Govt and private sector. He also described the current trend in the job market and also provided some tips to the students to achieve success in getting employment in future. Ninety Eight (98) nos. of students of +3 final year Arts, Sc, Com have attended the Programme and also interacted with the resource person to wipe out all their doubts in their career options. Towards the end, one exemplary test among students was conducted and the successful students were appreciated and awarded by the resource person on behalf of Vanik Institute, BBSR.
